Candidate: Democratic Party

With Democratic Hawks like Gephardt and Lieberman vieing for the bloodthirst on the labor side, Dean wants some simple things - Jobs for Americans, World Peace, you know, the usual beauty pageant, gee-whiz things that Americans say we want when we think of our better selves.

In a row - Dean's proposal to alleviate our economic woes is to slow globalization by not allowing countries that use unfair practices to trade evenly in the US.

He wants the UN to take over the reconstruction effort in Iraq.

He wants our country to be covered by universal health insurance.

He doesn't want the poor to pay and unfair portion of the tax burden.

In short, a dream candidate.

The only question is whether or not he can deliver.
