![]() Impeach George Bush Don't Cha Hate Rumors I know I do. And rumors are so hard to disprove. Like, Did John Kerry Lie About His Viet Nam Service? Source: The TIP, 2004-08-24 Candidate: TheTIP I would never want to be accused of spreading rumors. Especially when there is no evidence - just heresay. And all things being equal, a turkey ad accusing John Kerry of that kind of duplicity, based on the say-so of a bunch of people who don't even know Kerry, and at odds with all the contemporary literature, well, surely THAt kind of thing would never receive notice. And it didn't. Not by the press, not by the media...except of course the 24/7 cable news stations like MSNBC, FOX and CNN. Blitzer, Scarborough, Matthews, Buchannan, Hanity, O'Reilly, ...they've all had a field day. Hell, it's like OJ was back! Then the truth about the lies started to leak. That the man behind the scenes was a Republican donor from Texas with close ties to the Bush family and Karl Rove. That the leader of the group was a Nixon operative, bought and paid for, to discredit John Kerry. That the men in the ad making statements like they knew John Kerry, had been his doctor, served with him in Viet Nam, were all lies, and that some of the men stating Kerry was a bad guy were on record stating Kerry was a good guy, too. So, no, I hate rumors and would never start one, unless... Did you hear this one? Lori Klausutis, an aide to U.S. Representative Joe Scarborough (R-FL), was found dead in the congressman's District Office in Fort Walton Beach, Florida? You didn't hear that one? No, really, its true! Here's more... * The congressman (an ardent and vocal supporter of G.W. Bush, by the way) resigns only six months after re-election, just prior to his aide's death. The reason: amid rumors of marital infidelity, the recently-divorced husband wants to spend more time with his sons. * A medical examiner who had his license revoked in another state. Why? He lost it falsifying autopsies. * The medical examiner's supervisor had contributed thousands of dollars to the congressman's election campaign. * Contradictory reports about whether there is a visible head injury or not. * A medical conclusion that contains several inconsistencies. First, that Mrs. Klausutis, who was a marathon runner, died of a cardiac arryhthmia. Second, that although she had suffered a fractured skull and a "contracoup" bruise on the opposite side of the brain, the injury could not possibly have been caused by a physical assault. * Then there's the question of whether the office was locked and the lights were on. One report says the door was locked and the lights were off; another report says the door was unlocked and the lights were on. Strangley, Scarborough Country hasn't covered this story. Not a peep. Gee, I wonder why? You don't suppose he has something to hide, do you? Ya think he'll ever dig up some dirt on someone else and keep hammering away at it without a scintilla of evidence? Naw, he wouldn't do that, would he? Add a comment to this Message in our Forums. While you're at it, check out our forums too! User Originated Comments: |
