![]() Impeach George Bush David Kelly - Suicide? Not so fast. Lord Hutton a Brittish judge has been appointed to investigate the matter. Source: TheTip, 2004-07-23 Candidate: David Kelly As Lord Hutton, the judge appointed to investigate the handling of Dr Kelly, reads himself into the case, aides confirmed he may take some evidence before the TV cameras. The assertion of his suicide it seems was premature. The BBC has confirmed that it has a tape of its science editor Susan Watts' interview with Dr Kelly. It will be given to Lord Hutton. Also expected to be handed over - instead of being published today - is the transcript of Gilligan's second crossexamination by the Commons foreign affairs committee, in which he denies that MPs' claim that he had changed his story about his sources. A statement from the committee is expected at noon. The BBC tape's confirmation that Dr Kelly had said ministers were "desperate" for information about Saddam's immediate military threat - about which Dr Kelly was sceptical - is regarded as a crucial part of its defence. No 10 says it has no quarrel with Watts' reports, which acknowledge the crucial point: that Dr Kelly "was not disputing that the 45-minute claim was included in the dossier by the intelligence services", rather than inserted by Alastair Campbell, Tony Blair's communications director, against their will. In a separate development, Tom Kelly, No 10's spokesman, denied a Guardian report yesterday that he had been "furnishing information" which actively helped the Financial Times identify Dr Kelly.' One of Lord Hutton's likely witnesses, Mr Blair, yesterday cut short his round-theworld trip as he fled Hong Kong a day early to escape the devastating typhoon Imbudo which has killed six people in the Philippines and threatened the safety of his flight. User Originated Comments: From: k25 2004-02-04 00:00:00 there is something really strange going on with the u.s./british governments and suicide. go to dogpile.com or google.com and type guantanamo bay suicide or iraq troop suicides. you will find alot of stories about abnormaly high accounts of strange suicidal behavior. the stress of war or being in prison can get to people but the numbers of suicides are way to high to be normal. i think dr. david kelly killed himself but was driven to suicide when the british government gave him mind altering drugs that caused his stupid behavior. lariam and paxil have been proven to cause suicide. could the u.s be developing and experimenting on prisoners in cuba or troops in iraq with suicide causing drugs? mabe kelly wasnt give paxil or lariam but a drug made for political -ssasinations. the u.s. gov tested lsd on troops in the 60's without them knowing. if someone kills themself it is legally left at that and if a unknown chemical that cant be tested for and there for will not show on an autopsy it cannot be traced to tony blair. the perfect crime!!! From: 1999-11-30 00:00:00 i agree with joseph. the media immediately announced david kelly had committed suicide even before his body was suposedly found. when it was found, they announced it again before any autopsy, or any investigation, as if thats what they were told to say. its a big cover up. From: Linda 1999-11-30 00:00:00 keith, i respectfully disagree. they created this terrible situation - there was no war in iraq until they attacked. and if they are doing their best, they are in way over their heads and those whose best is better should be in charge. From: Keith 1999-11-30 00:00:00 i support george bush and tony blair and you should too. they are doing their best in a terrible situation. i applaud their efforts. good show!!! From: Diane Pgh, PA 1999-11-30 00:00:00 regarding the new month of 'novemer' - i guess that's what i get for making commentary on other people's spelling on another post; although i’m still glad i did it. i also forget to include my moniker. |
