Daschle Changes his Mind - The Draught Bill

Candidate: Democratic Party

Sen. Daschle, the Democratic Majority Leader has put the full force of the Democratic Party behind a war in Iraq, over the voices of traditional Democratic Leaders Ted Kennedy, Diane Feinstein and others. Now, instead of opposing a unilateral, unjustified war, he's for it.

But this wasn't his attitude a month ago.

What was the turning point, what changed Mr. Daschle's mind. The Draught Bill. He's got his State's part of the $9 Billion to take home to ensure his place in posterity as a two-faced pork-bellying weasel, instead of the patriot who prevented unnecessary deaths in Iraq on all sides.

Now Bush and Daschle are tripping all over each other trying to make the war in Iraq THEIR political issue. But who loses? If we go to war, it's the families of the men and women who DIE THERE.

very disappointed american to see our senate and
congress not giving our president and us troops
full support, but highly sending of full message
throught out the world of full support of suddam.
that is why people don't vote! in this great time
of support we all need to support our country for
full protection from evil so another 9/11 doesn't
occur. we have freedom of speech in which i think
we have too much. pull together and support our
nation as a whole and not partial. i don't
consider democrates and republicans different.
even when i vote. i will take my hat off to the
journalist in which are not disclosing information
in this war. we should not ever forget god, he
blesses our country always. keep god with
us
also. we need to turn our country around also. i
feel we are headed down a path in which we will be
out of control. meaning evil will control us.
