User Originated Comments: From: WILLIAM J CLEMONS 2007-04-17 00:00:00 a very sad day today [april 17,2007] a senseless horrible taking of 35 lives at vtu - the whole nation has responded with much feelings for the survivors - their parents - relatives - friends and colleagues - student buddies. we pray god will direct healing to all as the need substantiates. it is also a sad day that to remember congressman john conyers jr presenting the resolution in december summarily seeking answers to the iraq war - with strength that would appear sincere to get the investigation started. it seems that there is a group of high people in high places who apparently do not want the investigation to move forward - for reality - not to move at all - to simply sink away from memory. but, the people say ,he seeking of answers will not go away. when i retired from my business of 40 years - in june 2003, i discovered the internet for lack of what to do with my time. quickly i learned that too much time was being spent on diversion instead of matters that really had the people’s interest at heart. the conyers resolution dated december 18 2005 was an message worth having confidence in. at that time he could not even get it to the floor because of the opposition that certainly did not want the public to know - anything about the debacle of march 2003. and the discovery regarding the unfairly presentation of the occurrences of the iraq invasion has left me wondering why the honorable congressman conyers jr has not pushed the "resolution" any further. it is very important that the american people - know the circumstances of reality starting as far back as september 1997 - when pnac was originated by neo-conservatives with tremendous desire to invade iraq. their tentacles reached out to president clinton in jan 98 and lott/gingrich may 98 without tobtaining the results that they demanded. the rest of the scenario is not exactly hidden if you want to uncover a few facts regarding the demands by israel - pnac - aipac - ae&i - all desiring the result that occurred in march 2003. whether president bush is the "lone-ranger" on this issue is not absolute but that effect is bothersome when more facts of certain objectives by outside sources such as stay the course - never leave iraq - build military bases to prove necessity to remain - create violent chaos to keep the violence churning to appear necessity of our troops required in combat. all unforgivable and presenting questions that should be answered. impeachment is a premature rhetorical description of a non-doable approach that seems to make great news stories and gets a lot of people excited. however, without an investigation the house of representatives could not muster sufficient viable charges with proof of intent and willingness to move to the senate for final hearings and trials. so, it is imperative that the honorable congressman step back into the implied suggestion that he wanted to get the investigation started - and finished quickly. the facts are there mostly for just asking certain people certain questions under oath and the rolling stone will gather much moss. why, then does the honorable congressman seem to not be as excited now - is something else more important - what is more important to the american people. november 7 they gathered with loyalty to help the democrats obtain the mechanism to bring about a new direction. so far the new direction has taken a side road. some might question whether it was confusing to the politicians as if the people meant 2007 -and the polititicians thought they said 2011. where is the bedroll folks - someone is surely asleep at the wheel or they are playing puppteering with the those who have the lobbying power. who are those who have that power. the people send this guarantee - it ain't gonna go away - get the job done that was requested in november---- or the 2008 [coming before 2011] will look like a political slaughter house. how do you suppose the republicans will take this to the bar - and over the bar - the press is already smelling fishy rhetoric and the people are going to get it before too long. evidently the new direction was only window dressing for certain politicians to get a few more years on their job. whoopee. |
