Carlyle Group Expanding

The Carlyle Group May Buy Several Newspapers

Source: Seriously Though, 2003-11-25

Candidate: Big Business

The Carlyle Group which is a huge banking group with ties to many former world leaders may bail out Conrad Black, the owner of several major newspapers. Black came under intense pressure from shareholders when allegations surfaced that he and several close associates stole millions of dollars that did not belong to them. The Carlyle Group has George Bush Sr., James Baker and John Major linked to it and has managed money for the bin Laden family. The Carlyle Group is hoping to purchase between 25 and 40 percent of Black's major holding, The Daily Telegraph.

Seriously Though, this is the last thing we need, ultra-conservative power brokers owning even more of the world's media outlets and trying to brainwash the world's population into fighting third world countries for their natural resources.
