![]() Impeach George Bush Ann Coulter Creepy, isn't she. Source: The TIP, 2005-02-18 Candidate: TheTIP Did you happen to catch Ann Coulter on CSPAN this morning? As usual, she let her mouth run faster than her brain, and, as usual, she was quite smug and seemed to be absolutely sure of everthing she had to say. She's on the talk shows hawking her latest book. I won't mention its name cause I don't want to advertise it for her. The morning, Coulter defines for us a Conservative: Conservatives beieve in God. All of our beliefs proceed from that and our love of the United States of America is based on the Christian premise that "all men are created equal." Conservatives believe in the defense of the United States, believe in life, and believe you can do what you can (sic) with your own money. Coulter went on to refine her definitions. Christians believe in God, contrasted with Liberals believe they ARE God. And somehow, pro-life enters into the picture, though apparently it is unborn life that Conservatives love, specifically Conservatives are anti-abortion and even more specifically, anti partial birth abortions. Conservatives love of life does not extend to living Iraqis, however, as Conservatives are pro War with Iraq. "Liberals believe they are god, you 'll never get a better definition," Coulter finished. Having made her proclamation, the ditzy blonde drew her line in the sand and asked callers to prove her wrong whereupon one caller asked her if she believed in the Bible. Coulter thought for a while - looking for the catch - smiling wryly, she finally conceded that she believed in her "testament." "In my testament I do. I think it's all inspired by God, but if you're going to start quizzing me on the Old Testament, that's not my testamanet. We revised it." she said. Hmmm. Not to put too fine a point on it, but when Coulter says "We revised it" who, besides herself, is she referring to? She and ... God? Gosh, she looks pretty good for 2000 years. And, she doesn't look a bit Jewish! Another caller asked "Do you believe in the part, do not judge?" "Which amendment was that?" asked Coulter, apparently confusing the American Constitution with the Bible. Oh, I know, I'm a nit-picker. Coulter warned us about people like me, people who actually take her at her word, but haven't drunk the Kool-Aid. She said she'd done an interview on Canadian Broadcasting in which she insisted Canada had sent an army to fight in Viet Nam. Her interviewer disagreed. Later, when the interview ran, the interviewer had checked - it turned out that about 10,000 Canadians had crossed the border in order to join the American Army and fight in Viet Nam. The nation of Canada did not send an army to fight in Viet Nam under the Canadian flag. Coulter countered this bit of truth saying she hadn't expected someone to actually check what she'd said. In fact, Coulter said she'd had a three-hour interview with the Canadian interviewer and she was peeved that he'd edited it down. Coulter challenged Canadian Broadcasting to run the entire interview un-edited. Now wouldn't THAT be enlightening, watching Coulter free-associating for three hours! And said that Conservatives do much better live - unedited and unchecked - than Liberals. I guess that's because the conservatives that listen to her blather aren't intellectually prepared to actually question her veracity. Well, this Libertarian has to take exception to Coulter's claim that she somehow participated in updating or revising the Bible. In fact, to make a claim like that sounds awfully like Coulter thinks she's god. Gee, Conservatives think they're God? Add a comment to this Message in our Forums. User Originated Comments: From: doink 2007-06-28 00:00:00 with ann's adams apple, one has to wonder. just as she/he wants to be a woman, she is again a wanna-be to have some polical status. it is my bet that she/he will be gone as soon as this country wises up. From: Diane 2007-06-27 00:00:00 ann coulter is woman who gets carried away by her own ego. she denigrates people that she has never met and is rude beyond measure to anyone who does not agree with her. she is one of those that does not depend on her intellect to support her opinions, but feels that if she can be louder and more obnoxious than anyone else that she has won the victory. i cannot understand why any broadcasting network of any reputation at all would ask her to be a guest. she has become so bitter and nasty that physically she grows uglier each time i see her. she will never attain the beauty of elizabeth edwards who was able to make her point, but not act like a shrew in the process. From: Rev. Dr. Ann Weld 2006-08-06 00:00:00 ann coulter is a drag-queen, does she ever look in the mirror and see herself??? she has a horseface, she lies and creates trouble wherever she goes. i wonder how many abortions she has had, when she advocates anti-abortion laws. we remember who she hung out with when she started, no angels any of them. she really does look like a guy in drag.....enough!! From: Me 2006-07-17 00:00:00 people who take anything from michael moore or ann coulter as gospel should really re-examine their mental states. stop trying to muddle issues into partisan lines. this country can't function if we're at each others throats half the time. it shouldn't matter what party they're in as long as they do a good job! let me pose one question: what does ann solve by saying these things? does she expose the liberal double standard? or anything else for that matter? ok, lets say for the sake of arguement that she's right on everything. what has she done to help america? she hasn't extended the hand of reason to the liberals. she just insults them! think for your self and don't let people like her tear us apart. From: This writer sucks 2006-01-28 00:00:00 this article is the worst piece of literature i' ve ever read in my life. nitpicking isn't the word!!! your a joke buddy , get a life. this is a perfect example of why democrats have fallen, they constantly chase republicans instead forging there own roads!! |
