![]() Impeach George Bush Battle of the Warmongering Lying Yale Skull and Bonesman Okay, let's face it, this whole two party system isn't working. Kerry voted for Bush's Iraq invasion, his spending on the thing, for his tax plans. He backs continued military involvement in Iraq. So he's got a different spin - so what? It still walks like a duck and squawks like a duck. Source: TheTip, 2004-04-28 Candidate: Big Government Let's face it folks, there aren't any choices in this upcoming election. Here's what's not going to happen: We aren't going to get universal health care no matter who wins the presidential election. Why? Rich people, who get rich because of the way the rules of this country are set up, don't want to pay for poor people's health care and they have the political clout to ensure it doesn't happen. While we have a candidate SAYING that's what he wants, so did Clinton. Where is it? Nowhere. Bottom line, forget it. We aren't going to pull out of Iraq. Face it, even though we now know it was a boneheaded mistake on the part of congress to believe for a millisecond the Bush Administrations continued lies on the subject and grant him war powers (and for that we should unelect EVERY ONE OF THEM who voted for it for just being complete fools or liars, take your pick), we also know we won't be getting out of Iraq. Why? Kerry doesn't want out of Iraq, Bush doesn't want out of Iraq and God Forbid the Greens should run a candidate like Nader - let's face it, he's lost, why mess things up any worse? So we're not leaving Iraq. Our brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, cousins, mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles and so on will be dying for at least another two years because of this massive failure on the part of our government to remember its primary responsibility to the people of this country. We aren't going to get major tax reform. The wealthy will still pay less per-dollar-earned than the poor. That's how we like our country - the poor pay for the privelege of the rich to keep them poor. Whoopee!!!! Who's going to change that? Yale millionaire Kerry or Yale Billionaire Bush? Or non-yale millionaire Nader? Puhleeze. We aren't going to reduce the overall tax burden. How could we, nearly half the people in the country are employed by the government. With them and the 22% unemployed and gave-up, that's 75% of the people in the country that would be out of work. Well, let's face it, what has our government done for us lately. We aren't going to get improved schools. Not that it's the federal government's job to improve education, but now that they've completely screwed it up, its unfixable. Now instead of schools we have test-preparation facilities. For those few of us fortunate enough to know the difference, how sad is that - our children may not ever know the difference. We aren't going to fix medicare or social security or welfare or anything else either. Instead, we're going to continue to spend upwards of 70% of our tax money on defense and intelligence systems that don't work - and most of which were never even expected to work - like Star Wars or operation Bio-Shield. Give us a break. Here's what we will get. We'll get lied to constantly, whoever is in office. If it's a democrat, it will be to cover up the horrible things that they have to do in order to keep the world's poor subject to our economic rule. If it's a republican, it will be to cover up the horrible things that they have to do in order to keep the world's poor and our own poor subject to their economic rule. We'll get an increased tax burden. Let's face it, every day the federal government operates, it costs us money. The only sure way to stop them from spending more is to send them home. Bill Clinton may have balanced the budget, but I don't remember getting any big checks from the future-savings! We'll get into more coups and technically illegal and surely immoral wars. No president - including Jimmy Carter - in the last century has managed to simply keep us out of a war with somebody or another. This should be our defining note of success for a president - that the prevented wars during their stay in office. We'll become more involved in the ascendency of global capital. As the WTO and World Bank join forces with the G7 to ensure the firmest stranglehold on the economic futures of all countries, they'll continue to reinforce the power of the international banking community - CitiGroup, Bank of England, Barclays, Credit Suisse, Credit Lyonaise, Lloyds, Fidelity, Carnegie, Mellon, you know, the usual suspects. As a matter of fact, there are few people in the United States who don't already directly give these people half of their monthly income either in the form of rent or mortgage. It's clear that their goal is to make that a worldwide statistic. And worse, with their overwhelming ownership of the S&P's 500 and deep ownership of the worlds largest product-producing companies, they indirectly manage to squeeze an extra 20% in profits from each of our car-buying, food-buying, gas-using, water-drinking and electricity-using activities. Welcome to the matrix neo, you are a slave. Do the math, it's simple to do. We'll get more focused attention on the two main parties as they manage to have a symbiotic relationship. As everyone becomes more sure that THESE are the two parties they'll continue to leverage their political power for financial gain at our expense - Republicans and Democrats alike. Feinstein's husband's company was awarded a massive Iraqi consulting deal as a result of her playing ball with the Republicans in the senate - and she wasn't the only Democrat playing ball! Bottom Line It's time to send them home, and it's not that hard to do. 1) Stop paying taxes. This may sound impossible, but it's not, and it's legal. Don't make enough money to have to pay taxes. 2) Work for yourself. 3) Own your domicile outright. If this means buying half-an-acre in Arkansas for $5,000 - go for it. Arkansas is beautiful! 4) Don't drive "their" cars. Buy a horse and buggy. Build your own motorcycle that runs from alcohol. There are lots of options. 5) Don't buy goods not made in the US - it only enforces our worldwide dominance and increases the tax revenues. 6) Don't buy anything from a brand-name. No Nike, no Reebok, no Exxon, no Ford, no Citibank, no Sony, no Warner Brothers, no Albertsons, Vons, Safeway. Just give it up. These brand names were, with few exceptions, built for the sole purpose of creating market-leverage without providing value and then driving smaller private industries out of the markets (e.g. mom and pops). Support the mom-and-pops. 7) Remember that the best things in life are free - love, honor, loyalty, kindness and beauty, and that without them, no amount of citi-warner-albertsons-nike-ford is of any value. This will make it easier. As the first hyppocrite to stand up, that's it, I'm resolving to do each of these things. Add a comment to this Message in our Forums.
