Impeach George Bush

Democrats Silent

An Omnibus Bill is working its way through the Senate. It represents seven individual spending bills that will wrap-up the budget for 2004. It is a Boon-Doggle.

Source: The TIP, 2004-01-22

Candidate: Democratic Party

This Omnibus Bill contains hundreds of billions of dollars for pet projects across the nation.

The Democrats in the Senate know it. The Republicans wrote it.

The Democrats are complaining, but in the end, they will vote for it.

Why?

Because if they don't, it will close down the government!

Didn't we go through this twice before? Didn't Clinton call the Republicans on a badly written budget and close the government? And didn't the Republicans back down?

Why are the Democrats so cowardly? Get some steel up your spine, boys and girls! If you're worried about losing votes, don't. We'll put you back in office if you act like Democrats.

As it is, we are not represented in Washington at all.

i agree, us democrats should
vote against as
much pork as
possible. with that kind of

voting record, our nominee
will be
fortified during the
campaign. off the
immediate
subject, one thing that no

democrat is addressing is
the
possibility that the
republicans can
load the
voting place all across the

nation with diebold voting
machines
that won't have a
paper trail. we can't
trust
the republicans to be fair.
