![]() Impeach George Bush Two Wrongs Never Make It Right Let it never be said that the TIP supported the Democrats any more than it supported the Republicans. Mais NO! It is the Republicrats that have brought us to this sorry state. Source: The TIP, 2003-08-13 Candidate: Democratic Party We all keep hearing from the famous Talking Heads on the Right that the Democrats haven't come up with any ideas to solve the current problems facing the nation either. And they're right! Let's keep the failures of the two parties in perspective, though. The Republicans successfully convinced approximately half of the 40 percent of the voters to vote for them in the last two elections. Not quite half, but close. And since it was such a close election in 2000, George W. Bush used all his family's influence, which is considerable, to call in some favors from the Supreme Court. In other words, he wanted to be President of the United States really bad. The Republicans have worked overtime to control the Legislative, Executive and Judiciary. Having put themselves in the position of the most powerful human being on earth, they have a responsibility to actually do something. And they are. Bush has given away hundreds of billions of dollars, collected from every current and future man, woman and child on earth, to his friends and relatives. He's waged two wars against two countries that were, for all intents and purposes, unarmed. He's completely overturned America's 200 year old tradition of defense, not offense. He's systematically renigged on every treaty and organization to which his predecessors gave their word of honor. He's sold every asset of the country to the highest bidder. Republicans of every stripe have either abetted his efforts or sat silent as their cohorts committed treason. Now, what have the Democrats done? The Democrats have sat on their collected be-hinds and watched as Bush and the Republicans have laid waste to the country. Why? Because they don't have a better idea? Because they have no power? No, I don't believe that. No, the reason the Democrats havn't stopped the rape is, in my opinion, even more nefarious than sloth, more wicked than ignorance, more unforgivable than impotence. It is, likewise, treason. The Democrats have watched the destruction of the country hoping that the Republicans will make such a mess that voters will put the Democrats back in power. They're jealous for power. Both the Republicans and Democrats have forgotten they're Americans, first. In their race to attain power, they've forgotten why they were sent to Washington in the first place. In all of Washington, is there one patriot? If there is, would they please make a sound? A nation is waiting. Add a comment to this Message in our Forums. While you're at it, check out our forums too!
