![]() Impeach George Bush Bush's Clairvoyance on the Economy Having worked so well in Iraq, Bush now uses his Ouiji Board to predict Happy Days Here Again! Source: The TIP, 2003-06-19 Candidate: Big Business Nine months ago, Bush gave birth to the Weapons of Mass Destruction fib. First he started the rumour to strike fear into the hearts and minds of Americans. He made the sale to Congress, who, ignoring overwhelming phone calls and emails from constituents begging the legislators to ask the right questions and get to the truth, gave President Bush the awesome capability of Pre-Emptive First Strike, overturning more than 200 years of American Wisdom and History. Then, turning to the United Nations, he sent his mouthpiece, Secretary of State Colin Powell with the "evidence." Powell, who has spent a lifetime creating a reputation of Integrity, sold his soul to the Devil and gave false testimony to the World. We all know what happened then. As many as seven thousand civilian deaths later, more than two hundred thousand American soldiers occupying what was a soverein nation, and not one piece of actual evidence of WMD.Bush senses his future as President is in trouble. In 2 1/2 years, he's destroyed America's foreign. Now, he's turning his attention to the wrecked economy. Not satisfied undoing America's foreign policy, Bush is re-writing America's tax policy. Formerly, the United States has practiced a Graduated Income Tax. Those who made more money, paid more money. But a few years ago, Texas Congressmen Dick Armey and Tom Delay floated a new policy, The Flat Tax. The Flat Tax met with immediate obstacles. Firstly, it is patently unfair. Particularly as wage earners are taxed at a higher rate than those whose income is derived from other sources, and those same people, without exception, make far more money than wage earners and pay far less in payroll taxes. Bush decided to tackle his tax scheme incrementally. Every year, he's given the richest Americans tax reductions and tax refunds. He's run up the National Debt in record time while keeping America's eye firmly focused on TERROR!! Now, with the TERROR scheme unravelling, he's taken to the ground 1) raising money for his own re-election and 2) scamming the public with his Economic Schemes. ''The president has received information from private economists, from government economists that suggests that we are starting to see more good signs on the economy,'' White House press secretary Ari Fleischer said Wednesday. ''However, the economy still remains mixed.'' Now, doesn't that sound familiar? Un-disclosed sources "suggest" that what Bush wanted to do all along is the right thing? We're still looking for the WMDs. And we're still looking for the the "good signs." Maybe after Bush declares Martial Law and 200,000 American Soldiers are stationed across our own country, the UN can send in inspectors to look for the "Good Signs." User Originated Comments: From: albert g. 2004-01-09 00:00:00 to max. gore was part the following administration. to my recollection: we had full employment,a booming economy. we had surplusses as far as the eyes can see. when we had bill clinton in the white house, we also had a hostile iran, iraq and no.korea, but everything was hed in check thru an excellent diplomacy, we also had a hostile no.africa and balkan, but no blow out. now we have a republican white house, a republican house and senate and 1.3 trillion added to the national debt. we also have 9 million americans unemployed, most of the good paying jobs gone. the republicans have created a generation of hamburger-flippers and service related jobs. airbus has overtaken boeing. from 527 orders in 2001 to 281 in 2003 for boeing. 168 orders in 2001 to 300+ in 2003 for airbus. for 2004 boeing 1112 backorders, airbus backorders 1500. are u s products less wanted even with a declining dollar. are u s products so inferior that we are losing out on a product we are so famous for. boeing laid off 30.000 world-wide. look what happen in '93-'01 people were so inspired by clinton, that they were selling the u s to the world. what did gwb brought with him, an attitude of a bully. you can't create prosperity by using force nor can you create peace by being a bully. what about 9/11. make your own mind up. shop around. you can get information from all over the world with the click of a finger. listen to this one. the pentagon unveils incentives to encourage soldiers to re-enlist and bars others from retiring. lisbon, denmark, sweden, britain rejects demand to put air-marshalls on international flights. those are all u s favorites. brazil (and others to come) are finger printing all u s and u k citizens visiting their country. you keep rambling on amnesty for illegal immigrants, giving nuke secrets away, not starting any wars. where have you been. did you just crawl out of you hole. what do you think bush was talking about, when he wants to revive the "brazero" program. and i don't see bush tackling countries, which has the equilizer. example: china forces down u s spy plane, no.korea is tumbing its nose at the u s. oh, there is so much more. From: Linda 2004-01-09 00:00:00 employment was virtually unchanged in december while the unemployment rate, at 5.7 percent, continued to trend down, the bureau of labor statistics of the u.s. department of labor reported today. adjusted for common sense, however, the fact that congress left washington without extending unemployment benefits (just in time for christmas, bah humbug) means that millions of americans have fallen off the charts, which explains the reduction in unemployment. following increases that totaled 277,000 in the prior 4 months, and that reflects christmas hiring and parttime seasonal labor, nonfarm payroll was flat in december (+1,000). From: james 1999-11-30 00:00:00 i am glad to see someone else see' what is going on. From: Linda 1999-11-30 00:00:00 yesterday, aug. 6, on cspan's washington journal, peter read an article about pharmaceutical companies refusing to sell certain medications to canada so americans can't reimport them at a cheaper price than they can purchase them in the usa. anybody see it? know where he was reading? can find the article? thanks. l From: What would have happened? 1999-11-30 00:00:00 well, first of all, the ferc would have prevented the california energy crisis by stopping the price fixing as it was happening, rather than letting it go on for months. this falls directly under the jurisdiction of the federal government. http://www.thetip.org/art_bp___reliant___guilty_of _price_fixing_433_icle.html |
