Impeach George Bush

The Grim Milestone

The death of a Texas soldier, announced Sunday by the Pentagon, raised the number of U.S. military deaths in Iraq to at least 3,000 since the war began, according to an Associated Press count. The grim milestone was crossed on the final day of 2006 and at the end of the deadliest month for the American military in Iraq in the past 12 months. At least 111 U.S. service members were reported to have died in December. Spc. Dustin R. Donica, 22, of Spring, Texas, was killed Thursday by small arms fire in Baghdad, the Defense Department said. Donica was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 509th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Airborne Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division. His death was not announced by U.S. military authorities in Baghdad. At least 820 U.S. military personnel died in Iraq in 2006, according to the AP count.

Candidate: Dick Cheney

All rhetoric aside.

We have a BLOODY MESS on our hands. Nobody is stepping to the plate with a solution for FIXING it.

Instead, we waiting for the idiota-in-chief to tell us he wants to dedicate more troops and then ram that "solution" down the throat of congress who, because they're chickens, won't contradict him.

What?

That's right, the now-democratic congress, for fear of having to take responsibility for any piece of this, will fail to offer an alternative, and consequently let our brothers and children and sisters and mothers die in Bush's "little" war.

Meanwhile, the Rhetoric continues to drown any ability for people to recognize the truth of what's going on.

The media continues to try to characterize this botched invasion of a helpless country as a "civil war" - which couldn't be more ridiculous. While there's a certain amount of infighting amongst Iraqi's, by far the greatest insurgency is against this illegal and immoral American Occupation.

Consquentely
, the inaction of the democratic party over this Christmas Season is inexcusable. We can't blame the Republicans for being evil - they advertise evil, hawkishly crowing that they want to take over the world with every CNN and Fox News appearance while the -supposed- opposition party cowers as though there were no other option than to continue down this road of lunacy that the Republicans have set before them.

Do this - call your DEMOCRATIC CONGRESSPERSON.

Let them know that if they won't fix this, they'll be looking for a job next year.

And what's the net-net?

Because Democrats are willing to be critical of our so-called "leaders" the republicans win again with their faith-based governance, having forgotten that Christ refused to jump off a cliff saying that "Thou shalt not put the lord thy god to the test!"

Ladies and Gentlemen, fellow countrypeople, GOD is watching and He doesn't like killing people in his name, stop it, because if you won't, HE WILL.

Robbie
