Oh, c'mon, you remember. It was front page news for weeks, months...Congressional hearings, investigations, Janet Reno put the Justice Department on it...

Where's the outrage now? A few untidy messes are still laying about the White House floor and grounds, swept under the carpet, as it were.

Bush's misleading minomers: Clear Sky Act, No Child Left Behind, Save the Forest, Social Security Reform, Tax Cuts,...

And what about the Federal Deficts and Trade imbalances. Imagine, a Republican Congress and Democratic President with a $455 billion deficit. There's be special hearings and someone would be filing for impeachments!

But this Congress is a bunch of partisan cowards. Unwilling to do their own job: declaring war, passing budgets, oversight, upholding the Constitution. They are surely not willing to make the Executive Branch do its job. Let's have a convention instead.
