Impeach George Bush

Pray, Just Pray

The Republican Party is driving under the influence but the Democratic Party is asleep at the wheel. Who can save us from the chaos to follow? Pray, just pray.

Source: Linda, 2005-10-05

Candidate: Big Government

Time to take cover, folks.
The disastrous legislation and lackadaisical oversight of our government is finally bearing rotten fruit.

The Federal Government Creep began under Dwight Eisenhower's administration with the explosive growth of the Military Industrial Complex and initiation of Federal Aid to Education under the guise of Education 2000. Old Ike tried to warn us, but it has continued through every administration until today.

JFK got the US involved in a Viet Namese Civil War, shoveling more and more money into "defense." Johnson continued Kennedy's illegal war until he was beaten by the kids on the street - the last of our nation's youth to receive an education geared to teach americans to think.

Nixon said he had a secret plan to end the war - declare victory and come home. He did, too, but not before widening the war to Laos and Cambodia, creating the Khmer Rouge and the genocide of millions of Cambodians. Nixon also opened trade with China, sending his good buddy
George HW Bush to be his Ambassador. Of course, the connections Bush made in China would reap rewards decades later, when he son was president. In the end, Nixon couldn't hide his illegal agenda for long, and was forced out of office by a bi-partisan alliance of congressmen and women appalled by his paranoid activities.

Then came sweet, sincere and ultimately ineffectual Jimmy Carter. Does America really want a Christian President? We had one and crucified him.

Poor Ronald Reagan was crazy, of course. He was kept in the dark about everything going on around him as his minions opened the doors of the government and held a garage sale. They very nearly bankrupted the government, but for the Taliban in Afghanistan that the Reagan White House supported, who bankrupted the Soviet Union before the US could say "Uncle" Sam. The wolves of Wall Street began their relentless pursuit of the riches of America's pension funds, plundered in the name of Leveraged Buyouts, and Reagan fearlessly
waged war against the dastardly and dangerous Grenada. Whew, we really dodged the bullet there!

George Bush 41 oversaw the Savings and Loan scandals, a second attempt to make average Americans pay for the greed of the super rich. Not satisfied with son Neil's fortune amassed at Silverado, he saw to it that Neil could double dip into an unregulated tv-cable industry.

Bush also brought us his own version of Grenada - Iraq. Building up Saddam Hussein's Iraq to be the third deadliest nation on earth, America's Marines overran his country in a month. Then we set about plundering his oil and set up a permanent base in Saudi Arabia, a stone's throw from Mecca - just to remind the Arabs "who's in charge."

Finally, two words. Clarence Thomas. 'Nuff said.

Clinton, our first and to date only New Democrat president, promised to pull back from doing business with China until it improved its Human Rights record. But he didn't. Instead, China received Most Favored Nation trading status
and America's manufacturers found new customers, and new laborers, in China's over-populated and under-resourced economy. American businessmen and women thought we could teach the commies a thing or two. Then we got taken to the shed.

Clinton also sponsored and signed NAFTA, the first of now three Free Trade Agreements that have proven disastrous for America's middle class.

Just because Clinton was unwilling to serve in the Armed Forces during his young adulthood, didn't mean he was unwilling to send others to kill. But you have to admit, at least he didn't send our men to die - just to kill and wreck havoc in Serbia. Bombs away. And, of course, Clinton continued the genocidal policies of daily bombings and embargoes of Iraq.

And then there was Bush 43. What can we say.

The economy? Unleaded regular is $3.13 a gallon here today. Childhood poverty is at an all-time high. The budget deficit is the biggest its ever been and growing by the hour. The trade deficit isn't even
being discussed because the numbers are so big, no one can get the head around 'em.
The Climate is changing. Global Warming is heating up. The Arctic is melting and Polar Bears are starving. Oceans are rising, and heating.
Bush's war in Iraq is nothing short of a shameful fiasco, with no rationale (save the continued enrichment of the family business) and no end in sight.
American schools are bankrupt. American students know less, care less, and are less able to think than ever before - 40% of high school seniors don't pass the basic efficiency tests in math and English. The employment outlook is bleak. Higher education costs more than it's worth, and to top it all, 50% of America's teachers are about to retire in the next five years. Someone's going to have to pay their pensions while paying their replacements a whole lot more than the current teachers are making.
American courts are under assault. America incarcerates more of her citizens than any country in the world. Drugs
sales and use are unregulated and epidemic. Gunmen are killing judges, lawyers, court officers, and litigants inside the courtrooms. The Supreme Court lost all credibility with most Americans when Justice Scalia ignored his conflict of interest, and not only accepted the Bush v Gore case, but voted in it while his own son was on the team pleading the Bush case. Bush has finally brought the country together by nominating a woman to sit on the court that everyone agrees has not an iota of the requisite talent, skills or knowledge required to decide the direction of the country for the next century.
American borders are disintegrated. Those employers who can export labor, do. American employers who can't export labor hire men and women at slave labor wages with the blessings of the government. Overtime laws are out, minimum wages are a bad joke. And just in case no one was looking, Hurricane Katrina made American homelessness and poverty front page news around the world for a month. Bu
sh strummed while New Orleans drowned.
Bush has filled key government oversight posts with cronies who work for the very industries they are supposed to oversee.
Probably most diabolical is Bush's disregard for Democracy itself. Not only did he disregard the disenfranchisement of thousands of Floridians in 2000, his brother Jeb actually actively arranged for it! After taking office, his crude handling of foreign affairs regarding Iran, South and North Korea, China, Canada, France, Iraq, Venezuela, Cuba, ...whole continents are at sea as Bush saunters about pretending to be John Wayne. Will no one have the guts to say it? George Bush is a Moron!
Republican Whip Tom DeLay is under indictment for Money Laundering.
Republican Senate Majority Leader Frist is under investigation for Insider Trading.
President Bush's Chief of Staff Karl Rove is under investigation for, among other things, revealing the name and identity of a CIA Undercover Agent.
Vice President Cheney's Chief of Staff
Lewis "Scooter" Libby is implicated along with Rove.
Bush's largest donor, Ken "Kenny Boy" Lay, is yet to face charges regarding the insider trading and raiding of Enron, the largest bankruptcy Wall Street has seen to date.
Michael "Brownie" Brown, Director of FEMA, is under investigation for incompetance during the worst natural disaster America's ever known.
Homeland Security is a multi-billion dollar bunko scam perpetrated on American taxpayers, leaving us less secure and less prepared to react to all of the dangers facing us from within and without.
And if I hear War on Terror one more time...

That said, what are our options? The Republican Party is driving under the influence but the Democratic Party is asleep at the wheel. Who can save us from the chaos to follow? Pray, just pray.

right here sweetie...

i have a lot of
work to do!
;-)

i can not do it
without you though.
i need everyone to fall in
and support the cause.
if we can not take our
country back and put it back in order, we will
surely fade away.

of all the things we
humans are using our money to obtain, it is
defenses from the enemies we've made.

we
could have been well on our way to a harmonious
generation, but greed trumps the dream again...
and again.

for the root of all evil is
money, we must chop the root, only then can men
realize that as long as we are given the most
basic of needs can man survive... in a time where
unbalance is proper, we need to create balance in
order for the machine to work effectively and
properly.

if there is oil
under your house, it also means that the
government can take your house where they can
knock out two birds with one
stone.

beverly hillbillies no
more.

if you have oil under your house
and the government wants it, they are not going to
tell you that there is oil there, they will not
allow someone to claim prize on oil when they can
set it up to just take your land and start
drilling.

scratch a lie, find a thief.

oh yea, eminent domain.

the rule is that
if the state "for the public benefit" decides it
wants your land now, it can have it condemned and
take it for their purposes.

but worst of
all, they can give it to whoever they want, even
private developers.

so if you have a
house that's where a developer thinks a mall
should be and they can convince the city council,
you can be forced to abandon the property at a
price the city/state decides.
